Ever Played Wing Commander?

Have any of you ever played Wing Commander? The series is amazing, if you like great sounds, plot, extreme excitement, and a sense of involvement unlike any that you've ever felt.

Besides, the entire series can run quite well, even on a PII. :D I have a 300 MHZ rig, and .. it runs very well. :) Even WCIV! ^_^

I have Wing Commander III, Wing Commander IV, and Wing Commander Prophecy, all the original releases, and they're installed on my system right now. Thing is, I haven't played them through on the higher difficulty settings yet.

I played the first one ages ago. I kept getting stuck at one of the missions so I couldn't go farther.

I've played WCIII all the way, but none of the others. I've also played the Prophecy demo, but that's it

the first game my bro and i played of this series was WC:Armada... split screen sucked, but at least it was tag team dogfights (albeit in space)...

other that that, none :/

There's nothing like the alarm noise as Blair rushes out to his ship in his space suit. Then he's guided into his ship by the cruiser crew, .. and then launches out into space to meet his fellow wingmen. .. Oh God..... :drool:

And that's only a taste. This game is the supreme authority in space flight games. They REALLY draw you into the game, and make sure you stay there. ;) But don't take it from my words, play it for yourself. ;)

I Have The Collectors pack (titled "the Kilrathi Saga) which includes the first 3 games....THEY ROCK. Never have I seen a game that actually is just that damn good (since descent, that is...:rolleyes: )
