As most of you know, Interplay recently shut down Black Isle studios. As if that wasn't painful enough in itself, a side effect of this descision was the destruction of Fallout 3 (http://www.gamespot.com/6085620) as well. Congratulations, Interplay! Not only have you destroyed one of the best game developent teams ever, you also erased any chance Fallout fans had of getting another REAL Fallout game! Great job, fuckers!

Anyone who Loves Black Isle's games, and/or enjoys Fallout, and wants Interplay executives to burn in the flaming pits of the abyss, should e-mail Interplay (http://www.interplay.com/contacts.asp) and let them know what you think of their spectacularly boneheaded decision. I suggest using a format similar to this:

Dear Interplay,

Fuck you.

Sincerely,

(your name here)

I've held this opinion of Interplay ever since their bone-headed marketing caused the death of the Descent series :thumbsdn:

Honestly, an email like that isn't likely to do anything. Tell them that their bonehead decision cost them you as a customer. That's more likely to get their attention.

Yeah, I'm aware of that. The e-mail "fuck you" thing was hyperbole (gross exaggeration for a humorous effect).

I think I'm going to go hang myself now. I didn't even know they shut them down.

That IGN article is a massive load of BS. I'm sure that all of those BIS members who posted farewell messages at the BIS forums and NMA are all just hallucinations. There are only 2 things that could be going on here:

1. Interplay is blowing smoke up people's asses in a desperate attempt to salvage it's stock price (probably).

2. For once in the company's history, it's worthless, arrogant executives actually heeded the requests of it's customers and cancelled the destruction of BIS (yeah, right. Whatever.).
