I've just got one question. I only have one account on this computer, and I want to make it so it automatically logs me on to it when I start up the computer. I'm guessing I have to mess with the registry somehow, but I wouldn't know where to start. I saw it on Tech TV once but I can't remember how.

I don't have XP, but in 2000 you go to control panel and "Users and Passwords" and uncheck the box "Users must enter a user name and password to use this computer."

You might also be able to set up if you enter setup while it's booting (usually by hitting F2 or something).

There is a part under the control panel where you can control the login options. I think it lets you choose between where you have to enter you name (similar to previous login screens for Windows) or give you a list of users with their personal icons next to each one. Something in that area lets you login automatically, but it may not let you if you have a password set.
