I'm having some troubles connecting. I know that as soon as I submit this, the problem will be solved, but I figure in some obscure event that it's not, I'll submit it anyway.

I open mIRC. I click connect. The server window comes up. Then I type /join #agn, and the channel window comes up. After that, whenever I try to talk on the channel, it says this:

#agn Cannot send to channel

Does anyone have any idea as to why this is occuring? For what it's worth, I'm behind a NetGear router.

Are you using Trillian? Trillian sometimes says you're not connected, when you really are (irc only). If it's Trillian, I wouldn't worry.

Was the channel moderated?... That's almost always what the error means.
-_-

Perhaps you should try "reading". We could see what he was saying in the chatroom. Services split, one of which was moderated. It only affected the server he was connected to.
