This past week, I made a visit to the doctor to have a physical done for work. I'm still baffled by the whole situation, and would love to hear some of your doctor stories. :)

(CB is already placed on the office bed, clothed in her *robe* which appears to be more like a napkin. Doctor enters the room a few minutes later.)

Dr: You're Monica?
Me: Yes, sir.
Dr: It's nice meeting you.
Me: Thank you, it's nice to meet you, too.

(Doctor sits down in his spiffy spin-around chair, and looks at CB's chart, and then at CB curiously.)

Dr: 5'6 huh?
Me: Yes, sir.
Dr: Wow, that's pretty good for being 16.
Me:*blankstare*
Dr: Do you drive, Monica?
Me: Yes, sir.
Dr: Do you wear your seatbelt?
Me: Yes, sir.
Dr: That's good. Okay, everything looks great.

And that my dear friends, was my physical that cost me $70. Maybe I should start giving physicals. I could ask questions like that... it'd be a good way to make some extra money. :badrazz:

When I went back to the doctor to get checked up after getting diagnosed with mono last year, my doctor told me that I couldn't do any "strenuous exercises", and then he goes "you know what I mean!" and winks, lol. I was like, "uuuhhhh..."

Yeah :p

My old doctor tried giving me a breast exam two days in a row when I was 17 (I went in one day about my ear, and she told me to come back the next day... the first day she gave me a physical, and the second day she said she forgot to check for lumps and gave me another breast exam, when I remember her giving me one the day before). My mom and I walked out, so now my doctor is some old guy... lol

Crazy. I hate my doctor, he's a little personal with his questioning and such. I can never stand physicals, all because of him.
