It's a thing Scott Mccloud does on his website called "The Morning Improv" where you can e-mail him a title and he will make a comic about it. So somebody recommended the title "Monkey Town" and that's what came out. It's pretty cool, alot of the Morning Improvs are really good. He started doing them again recently too.

LoL that was great.....Scott McCloud......we had to read one of his books in one of my classes for school...Understanding Comics I think its called....hmm...That comic was great though...no ninja monkey tho :\

Yeah, I read Understanding Comics and Reinventing Comics. Both are really good. I highly reccomend them. :thumbsup:

Ummm, did I call it a satire? I meant spoof, I think...

And my advice is to avoid trying to figure it out. I highly doubt there is much coherency in that whole comic. But the completely wacky style is oddly amusing nonetheless.

So stop trying to get it Slider.. No! I mean it! Stop right now before you hurt your cerebellum! :)

It's basically a parody of Power Rangers/Transformers/Pokemon, plus just the fact that saying "Monkey" over and over is so damn funny. Somebody should make some avatars from it. :P
