My firend has been having problems with his new Nvidia GeForce 5200 and the support book has suggested
this:

Download and install the Latest AGP Miniport Drivers for your computers Motherbourd. For Information about iobtaining and installing these drivers, please consult your origenal system, vendor or your Motherbourd manufacturer

the mobo in question is this one (http://www.uktsupport.co.uk/advent/faq/pc/3214.htm)

Google searching isnt working too well and I was wondering if anyone could help me find what I need?

Many thanks,

~obi

What's the problem actually? Does the computer start? Does it just lock up from time to time? What happens?

Tell him to upgrade to the latest VIA Chipset Drivers (http://downloads.viaarena.com/drivers/4in1/VIA_Hyperion%204IN1_V449vp2.zip) and the latest NVidia Video Drivers (http://download.nvidia.com/Windows/52.16/52.16_win2kxp_english_whql.exe). Also, tell him to make sure and disable any anti-virus programs when installing those.

Good luck! He should probably un-install the drivers he already has before upgrading, too.
