Hey, have you guys heard of Stardock's new program, Objectdock? (http://www.stardock.com/products/objectdock/)

Basically, it re-creates the "dock" from Mac OSX. It's pretty sweet, you can set it to use transparency and stuff. Even has a clock and a weather thing built in. Try it out!

Tip for new users: Even if you disable the Windows taskbar through the ObjectDock settings, you can still bring up the Start Menu by using the Windows key! :nerd:

Interesting... though I probably wouldn't use it, as I find anything that occupies desktop space when I'm not actively using it extremely annoying.

(Incidentally, I also find horizontal scroll bars annoying... any chance you can crop a bit off the right end of that image?)

Cool. :naughty: I might try it, were it not for my possessive father.

So what else does this thing have? I wonder if my school would allow for this. Could be interesting.

That's so badass. I'm downloading it :D

Thanks, TPT!

*EDIT* You people owe it to yourselves to give this a shot. It doesn't get in the way at all and it's REALLY FRELLING COOL!! :nerd: :nerd: :nerd:

I got it a while back. It's pretty cool, but I'd rather have the windows start menu.

That looks pretty cool, but I prefer the windows start bar (which you can skin).

I've got CursorX, WindowBlinds, and sometimes DesktopX (many of the DesktopX desktops are horrible to work with, but look cool).

What exactly is DesktopX, anyway? The description on stardock.com still left me a bit confused.

it's WindowsXP customized to hell. It looks awesome, but some of the themes are impractical to use in everyday computing. Here's a few examples of the desktops:

I'm sorry, I'm a diehard StyleXP fan...
