View Full Version : Graphical Siggy Dimensions?

So I notice many of you made cool graphics in your signatures with your names on them with a nice looking graphic... Inori for example.

I was wondering if there are standard dimensions to it that is most commonly used on the internet, like buttons are 88x31, what would the dimensions be for the cool graphic name siggy thingers?

I used 300x100, that is a little on the large side, though.

Perhaps 250x80...? I don't know. There's no standard size.

All the banners I make are 468 x 60. Of course, I only have one banner in my sig that's that size. BTW, that's my freinds website, not mine....

For my sigs I use around 400-500 in length and around 100-150 in height.

It depends on what you like though, I've seen some huge sigs and I've seen some really small ones.

Just do whatever works... I picked a size that fit the font I happened to select first in Photoshop. Only word of advice: if your image is bigger than your monitor, consider resizing. :kawaii:

I just make sure that any images I place in my sig won't annoy most people. I should probably clean out a few things in there, but... what? :shrug:

I dont understanmd why you would need a banner in your sig saying your name. Your name is already in teh upper left corner of your post, it doesn't need to be said again. Guess I'm not cool enough to get it.

OK, with all my pesimism aside. I think teh standard rule of thumb is that they can be liek 400 in width, thats how it used to be tho, things have changed *shrugs*. If you want a quick and easy banner try here (http://www.flamingtext.com).

On the contrary...you're far too cool to get it ;)

I just like showing off my graphics skills, that's why I have a siggy.
