Religious Right Myths?

Saw this on MSN website and it managed to snag my curiousity.

Just curious what others may think. What I gathered from it is that the label of "religious right" is a stereotype which isn't true of all religious folk, although there are clearly religious conservatives out there.

Granted, I'm most definitely a conservative religious person, but you knew that already, right?

Interesting, but it didn't shake me much. I've always been naive enough to hope that religion doesn't lead people to vote, but caring about where the candidate actually stands on issues. The most interesting part was when the article said even atheists wouldn't vote for an atheist.
