does anybody have a web cam that can give me some good info/tid bits on them cuz i kinda want one but i dont know what the best kind is, where's the best place to buy one, how much they typically cost, what the features are on them, etc?

I have a web cam, but it dosnt wanna work like one. It takes pictures but I cant get the dumb thing to work.
