A stupid thread, nonetheless, but will be very helpful to me.

I want to completely erase a gamesave for a Nintendo 64 game, but it works differently. Example: If you have ever played Banjo-Kazooie and retrieved one of the special eggs, you realize that you can't erase this data off your cartridge. On the back, you see that turning the Nintendo 64 on and off rapidly does the job, but nope, it has failed to erase any data off the cartridge. Also, simply erasing all my savegames won't work.

Any good methods that anyone might know about?

(The game MUST work afterwards and hopefully I won't have to "operate" on my cartridge.)

Buy a new cartridge of the same game for $5-$10 dollars. If you wan't to keep the cartridge, then I have no idea:shrug:

Sometimes, if you remove the cartridge from the system as it is saving data, you corrupt the save data and it erases the memory. However, the secret egg status may be in a part of the memory that isn't frequently written to, so it may not be possible.
