When I try loading in a MIDI to my quest, I get the message that it is unable to load the MIDI. The box you click on says "Dang" and there is no further info. I have speculated MIDIs using too many tracks or unavailable instruments are the ones that do not work, and am looking for a program I can use to resave MIDIs or perform another change on them if this is not the problem.

www.google.com ;P

I've had this problem before, but it doesn't even have a message box appear. It just refuses to load for me. It's a good midi, too.. But yeah, for your program, try searching on the above URL..

The most common cause of MIDI problems is a MIDI with too many tracks. If you can open it in a MIDI editor, you might be able to prune some tracks that don't contribute much to the overall sound of the MIDI.

Why, which midi are you planning on using that's giving you a problem? I remember that there was a midi from Sonic that did that.
