A list of theatres who will show the Fellowship and Two Towers Extended Editions in theatres, culminating in the ten hour marathon, has been released!!!

Is a theatre near you hosting this once-in-a-lifetime event? Tickets on sale Wednesday, October 9th. I'll have to see which gives me the better value, Lloyd Center in Portland, or the Cinerama in Seattle. I'm leaning toward the Cinerama. I've never been there but from what I've read that is one inpressive screen.

Yup, there is one.
I'm not gonna be the one standing in line to get them, though.

I may have to take the 30 min trip to my local mall to see it. ;) How much will it cost tho, 40 bucks a pop?

Hrm... it's a 1.5 hour drive to the nearest one for me... as much as I'd like to do it, it seems a bit impractical.

Forget that. I'll just buy the box set...when my parents see fit to bestow cash upon me.

WOW! I might have to talk Paul into taking me to the Lloyd Center movie theater! Driving in Portland sucks (seems where you wanna get to never has a road going the way you want it .. to get there). Maybe the Max train goes close by. :)
