http://slashdot.org posted today that the source code for Half Life 2 was leaked on the internet. here (http://www.worldoverclockers.com/Downloads/pafiledb.php?action=category&id=27) is a link to a site hosting it. I recommend you go to the page and press refresh a few times just to look at the hit counter, it's going at least 1 download per second.

It seems the more I click the refresh now, the more it goes.. at least it isn't hosted anywhere, so nobody can get busted.. err..

Download from the torrent, much faster. Not like you can actually play the game of course, this is just the source code. No textures/audo files.

That's a lot...? The source has yet to even be compiled successfully, and like I said before, even if they did manage to compile it you still wouldn't be able to play. The only thing that this will have accomplished is a set back in the release of HL2.

Yeah and according to the articles it's at least 3 weeks old and the game is still unreleased. So with no graphics, unfinished, probably buggy, uncompiled and owned by millions of other people on the internet I doubt it will come to anything more than a 2k waste of space on your hard drive.

Not to mention that it would take an entire gaming company months or years to make anything out of it and by then the actual game will be out. :shrug:
