It would be a little better if you don't post one word posts. Otherwise it'd be harder to get help.

Did you try using the whistle at the spot with a weird colored tree which is around the bottom east corner of the overworld?

There are 2 mini dungeons. One is near Level 4 and the other, I forgot where. They hold pretty interesting items (among which the whistle.) Level 5 is pretty hard.
I don't remember more. Sorry.

I found the mini dugeon near level 4, it held the white sword. Still stuck

I think the second mini dungeon is located on the second screen after you take the raft ride. Try burning some brown bushes (it should open a path up.) The whistle is there, to the best of my knowledge. But I'm known to mix up my levels, so keep me posted.

yeah carrot, I found it. That dragon set is kind of hard without the letter/potion

Maybe I ought to look for this

Try to dodge the fire balls, don't face it head on.

I don't remember where the letter is, I played it a long time ago.

Since no one else seems to remember, may I suggest you go about it the cowardly way. Use the hit and run technique hiding in the doorway between stabs and fire balls.

Did you encounter any potion selling shop? I'm not even sure you could get some so early in the game.

Actually I told zeldafan about the "cowardly technique" through an e-mail yesterday. For some weird reason I couldn't send any messages on this board yesterday so that was my only option:( looks like you're not the only one who remembers that...hehe

And yes, you're right, there are no potion shops that early in the game. I also don't remember where the letter is, so I wish I could help more.

The letter is up the coast on the east side. I think it is one screen west of the northeast corner. I could be off by about a screen in any direction.

Oh yeah, and that "cowardly technique" is the only way I know of that that 10-headed gleeok can be defeated.

Go to the Private Messages at the bottom of your main page, click on options and check or uncheck the PM thingy, unless Zeldafan is the one who needs to do that.

Told you I had a good memory, to some extend.

@Foxx Yeah, you're right. He should take a raft ride and climb up a mountain.
I use the cowardly technique once in a while too, but I'm usually not that patient.
