Technically, the guy who passed it off didn't do anything illegal. The bill isnt counterfit, since it in no way represents an actual bill in circulation.

Yes, you're wrong. It was a fraudulent imitation of American currency that was passed off as legal tender. I doubt very much that he actually made it, looks like souvenir currency.

Surely the signs on the back would have indicated the reader to look up to see a hearty :p on the face of the distributor. That should have been clue enough that it was fake, if not the fact that there is no such thing as a two hundred dollar bill. I mean, anyone can accept a Washington, a Jefferson, or even a Hillary as real money, since they're everywhere nowadays, but a Bush? :odd:
