boot cd psx

So i downloaded a free file which i have to burn on cd and i'd
have to use that to play the US version of the game i bought.
I burned the file and used it as a boot dics on my European
version but i didn't get the menu they said i should of get,
and yes i re-re-redownloaded it but it just didn't work.
Does/did anyone have that same problem and has a real/good
working bootfile. or a link to where i can get one thx.

I think megagames.com has a image which allows booting imports but it's useless unless you can boot copied/burned CDs in your PSX. And all the methods of booting a burned disc also boot imports so why bother?

Also if you are going to play a USA game on a euro/pal setup you may want to patch the game or require an rgb cable to get correct video&colors.
