WTF. How could the drill push his brain aside, unless he has a really small brain, or a really big head?

One word: Ow...

And I don't think it's really possible to have the brain really pushed aside. I think the drill was right up next to it. That's all I can think of.

He's not really a hero because he didn't save anyone.He's just clumsy.............ouch!

Yeah, he's clumsy probably, but he's also probably one of the luckiest people ever since he survived that. Then again, he's also not so lucky because he has to have a glass eye, but he's still lucky because that's all that was wrong.

He's a hero cause he took it and survived it. Hes lucky to only need a glass eye.

why is he a hero? cuz he luckily recovered from his own stupid-ass mistake?! he's no F***ing heroe!!! You want hero, then find a police officer or fire fighter that helped rescue people from 9-11 or something--i mean, everyday there are surely people that achieve corrageous acts in order to save people & such--this stupid fuck didn't do anything like that sort (as you can't tell i'm very opinionated on this subject)

That was almost two years ago. What have they done for us lately?
And, come on, it's a drill! Through his head! It hurts just to think about it! And it's way cooler than some fire guy!

Nonetheless, my hero will always be whipped cream. Because it's yummy with pie.

Too bad he didn't hit his nuts, that way he could win a Darwin Award.

And since when does luck make you a hero, he didn't do a thing to survive it, he just sat there for four hours while some doctors saved his sorry ass. The doctors, if anybody, are heroes.

Hey, anyone who takes a drill to his head and survives deserves at least some respect. He even had the consciousness to check where the drill had entered and was exiting before he went into shock. Give the man a break, we all make mistakes.

He is extremely lucky, especially if he doesn't have any brain damage... it was my understanding that most people who survive that sort of thing are often permanently screwed up, unable to think or act normally at all. Even though it was sheer luck and good doctors, he definately deserves some respect, if he's handling it well now and going about his normal life.

Yes, like the policemen who beat Rodney King, or sodomized that immigrant with a plunger in new york. The ones who terrorize teens just to scare them. The ones who give you a seat belt ticket when your wearing your fucking seatbelt!!! The ones who see that sincwe your 18 and you have cigar ashes in your ash tray that he thinks its weed and reads you your rights. Man fuck cops! None of them are worth a shit!!

Only those who don't follow the law fear the police. But yes there are bad apples among every such authority, but they are usually few and far apart.
