working on Labor Day?

yea, so i was listening to a radio program and they mention having to work on Labor Day, and i was thinking 'yea try working my job'... its not hard to do what i do (Night Auditor)...

so technically i dont 'work the day', seeing as i work nights, but that leads me to ask:

How man people here have job that you have to work Labor Day?

also: if you wouldnt mind telling what kind of job you got...

Yes I gotta work today from 12 - 8. Not too bad, I've worked on many labor days of the past too. I'm a Co-owner/ Cook at the place that I work at.

My bank (http://www.commerceonline.com) is probably the only one in the country open on Labor Day. And of course I was one of the lucky two tellers chosen to work the shift.

Subway does indeed own. My one older sister worked today, she's a sandwich artist. I myself don't work though. :shrug: And is it just me, or is this a semi-cheap advertising thread for everyone's place of work? ;)

As with Yoshiman, the only work I have is schoolwork, and seeing as I had a family reunion this weekend, I put off my homework until tonight.
And yes, this is a good way to advertise a few companies. But notice how they're relatively vague and say "a pizza chain" or "My bank" instead of names. Though they do link to them, who's really gonna check to see it's Donatos and Commerce?
