What exactly does the Lens show?

i know taht the lens of truth does something where it shows only some of the layers, but which ones does it and does it not show?

It shows bombable walls, walk through walls, items needed to trigger secrets (with apropriate quest rule), and secret comboes before they are triggered.

If the quest rule for "Show Lens Hints" isn't on, I believe it just shows a flashing square.

I thought that rule allowed the player to see what item triggers secrets on the respective tiles? Oh bah.

so, if i wanted to make a room that is all black except when the lens is on, what would i do? i mean black on like, layer 9 or something so you can't even see link.

make the secret combos a clear combo. never tried it out myself, but i think it'll work
