buy 27 swedish meatballs and arrange them by carbon density around your living room.

after joining the white water rafting cult and buying 27 swedish meatballs, arranging them by carbon density in your living room,

try deleting the infected file...

oh.. that's a much better solution to the problem.

...if I joined the cult would I have to share my meatballs with them?

and I am curious, what are the popups from NAV telling you?

You should be fine as long as they don't tell you to ignore your meatball duties.

I've had that problem before with NAV poping up every time I start the computer. It was a file that windows was loading up everytime the computer started that was a exe file, thus creating a virus as a fake system file.

LMAO, for some reason I found this so funny...

Anyway, I had to do a system recovery, just a small one. Then once the computer started back up, I started up my firewalls and went directly to microsoft.com and got the patch, it worked very nicely, also keep the automatic updates on, as they can help in the future. ;)

Its easy to get rid of, just delete C:\windows\system32\msblast.exe. Then run 'regedit' and delete the following key: "windows auto update"="msblast.exe"
in the folder
"HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\Curr entVersion\Run".
There's a removal tool at www.symantec.com that does all this for you. Chances are you got the worm before you installed the security patch, as the worm infected one of my machines within about 10 minutes, when it took me about that long to download the patch.
