A group from WBAP's "Fastest Round Of Golf" managed to break a world record today for the world's fastest verified round of relay golf (18 holes).
Groups teed up in a relay round of 18 holes to try to beat the record. Relay means that one person hits the ball, and then someone else runs up to where it lands and hits it again, and so forth.
Anyways, one group managed the task in 8 minutes, 47 seconds, beating the old record of 9 minutes, 28 seconds by 41 seconds.
The event, which has been sponsored by WBAP Talk Radio several years in a row, raised money for Feed the Children this year.
I hope that link stays current, but the gist in this thread. Simply amazing, and I had to share.
