ryenshin: I am messaging you reguarding your inappriate behavior on AOL Instant Messenger. We [AOL] have come to the conclusion to delete/ban your IP from our acceptance list on you signing in and here by delete your Screen Name as the Result.. this will take place in the next 24 hours goor bye
That is an Instant Message I got. Let me point out why its fake.
1.) I haven't used AIM in quite a while. Trillian is the way for me.
2.) Goor Bye? AIM Staff wouldn't be careless enough to make a silly grammar mistake as such.
3.) I know you can't see it, but all the text before the ... was in bold. All of the text after the ... was not bold.
4.) Why would an AIM Staff have the screenname of Ryenshin? And if they were staff, wouldn't their Warn Button and Block button be gone? I'd think they would be.
All and all, some people just aren't good at this. Did this ever happen to any of you?
