Naw, to use as a jumbo telescope.

Heh, what the object is depends on who's it is. Your imagination is the limit.

Nail it to a wall, and you've got yourself a basketball net.

Why would you have a bucket with no bottom? If it broke, then throw it away or fix it. ;P

Is there a right answer?

To serve as a pipe/drainage device of some sort in a MacGyverism. Such a bucket would also work well as a focuser for a light bulb and for a lining in a slightly larger hole that it could fit in. Also, it could be used as the torso for a small robot, or it could also serve as a device to keep a snake's mouth open, perhaps, or as an imaginary escape tunnel (if only to the other side of the bucket).

Edit: It would also make a good hat if you head were the right size for it.
