text color???

got the text color set to white (51 on my pallette)...but it ends up being blue on the screen...just obnoxiously dark enough to be hard to read.

without having to change the color in the pallette, how can i make it white? is there a reason it is not the color i've set it to?

hrm... just look for a cset that is not 2,3,4,6, or 9, that has a white color on it. set it to that. :shrug:

Actually, strings in ZC use the second color of cset 0, so you'll have to change that to white (or whatever color you decide you want your strings). Unfortunately, you can't change the colors in the Misc. colors section. The "text" category in the Misc. colors section will only change the text in the subscreen.

well SOB... i guess it is just 01. You can't alter it without changing the pallette. Thanks for correcting me.
