Okay, my Mom bought a box of '2 Microwave Egg Boilers'. Basically, they are little plastic egg-shaped containers that you can microwave an egg in. Here is a transcription of the box. Any typos are as they appear on the box.

I'm presuming this gadget was made in Taiwan, and we're comparing Taiwan's Engrish to Japan's Engrish.

I do know neither Japan and Chinese have both an "R" and an "L". (China has an L but no R. And Japan is the opposite, as far as using English letters to represent their own language is concerned. In Korean, too, R and L are considered the same sound, represented by the same phonetic entity.)

It's the grammar that's funny. It's complete engrish. While not hilarious, it's still pretty funny.

Considering the way most of you type, you are probably so unfamilliar with correct english grammar that this seems perfectly normal.

Dont worry, theplustwo. I see the humor in it, even if everyone else doesn't.

Real Americans don't use proper English...

I soppose it's a little funny. The 1st time I read it, I chuckled a bit.

thank you :P... yes, the product was made in japan, hence the reference. i thought i mentioned that, but evidently i forgot.

while not the most hilarious engrish, it is the funniest i have ever personally stumbled upon.

Japan and not Taiwan? Where does Taiwan come into this? I'm just curious.

(Taiwan is currently independent of both Japan and China, but has closer ties to China that any other nation, being founded by people fleeing China due to persecution, if I have my history correct.)

They were the losers of the civil war in China. Mao's party won, and as a result China became communist. Because the island was the one stronghold that Mao could not break, China considers Taiwan to have been in a state of rebellion ever since (instead of being its own country).

It was a bit funny. Then again, I tend to find engrish funnier than most do.

Heheh. I find stuff like this funny, if no one else does... As i was reading it, i remembered a knife package my mom got at Uajamaya (or however the hell you spell it). It read:

"Warning: Knife very sharp. Keep out of children."
