reducing spam is a big thing for me, since i get 60-70 e-mails a day. not much compared to some peoples inbox. as to sending annoying phone calls to spammers, i think its a great idea. fight fire with fire....or spam with spam...

I agree. Spam is most definitely annoying. A lot of it is probably illegal and associated with hackers who can mask their point of attack, or other equally disreputable groups seeking to earn a profit without regards to those whom they target.

The problem is most spam doesn't have a phone number - just a website to go to. So if there was a guy who spammed the spammers, he would have to do it via a DNS attack or something of that sort.

My Yahoo account generally does a pretty good job of filtering out spam though, so spam hasn't been much of a concern for me of late.
