Need Help With .AVI Video

Does anybody know any good Media players that can play .AVI videos. I could watch it with what I have but this video is stubburn... I can get it to play but only the first 10-20 seconds Through DivX player, Then It freezes. I have the latest Nimo Codec pack (build8) so I dont think thats the problem. I have also Tried getting different copies of the video but they all share the same fate : ( If anybody could tell me what the problem is that would be great.

If it's a DivX .avi, you may have to download this thing from the DivX site that "cleans up" .avi files, that may play strangly.

You should be able to play the file on Windows Media Player with DivX installed, you shouldn't need a separate player. Quicktime plays'm too I think (well, I know it does on OS X).

I did some support stuff from DivX's Website and The file is not a 'Genuine" DivX file. but it wont run right in any other .AVI player I try it in.
