Sorry, I'm confused as to what you actually saw. I live in PA, BTW. What town are your cousins from?

PA is a beautiful state. But I'd still prefer South Carolina...

I live in Northampton County PA, which is in the southeastern corner. What do you mean by tall things with rock backgrounds?

My best guess as to the big rock things hes talking about are mountains, or something. Anyway I live in south east PA, in suburbs, so I don't really see large mountains that often.

If I remember correctly in parts of PA, There are roads that kinda go between mountains/hills that have signs saying something like "Falling rocks" or something like that. I think the roads that go between these mountains/hills were dynamited out to make room for the roads. I think that I was in PA when I saw this. So you see nothing but rock going straight up. Im guessing this is what he means by big bad rock backrounds?

Yeah, there are a lot of areas like that in PA. Some very awesome woodland scenery if you know where t olook.

Heh, that's what I thought he was talking about, but didin't want to venture a guess. I happen to live right in the appalachin mountain so I see that everyday. It's kind of wierd though I'm so used to living in this hilly area that I don't notice them. When I go to other states and the hills disappear, the whole area feels unusually open and big.

big mountains? i dono how big they are in PA but i know that here in the Salt lake valley (UT) they are really big, and they are blueish purpleish. my brother who is in Ohio for 2 years said that in Ohio (yeah, i know thats NOT PA) they have NO mountains, they have mounds. but thats just because we have the Rocky mountains 15 mins away from us...

The Appalachian Mountains are much smaller then the rocky mountains, because they are much older and they have eroded.
