View Full Version : Problem: Can't run 192b16.

I just downloaded ZC192b163w. When I unzipped it gave me two files Zquest and Zelda. I put both into the same folder. However, when I click on them it flashes the DOS window for a split second then closes. Any help would be appreciated.

set the properties for the ZELDA.EXE window to NOT close when done, run it, then what error message does it show?

Ok I did that. It says error loading zgp.dat

Sounds like you are missing the support pack...I know it's in one of these topics somewhere, but I don't remember where right now.

At least...that's how I remember it.

Should that have come with my download or is it seperate? I sure wish the search worked so I wouldn't have to bug you guys with all these questions.

Ok I ran Agsetup and the quest editor is working now. My new problem is when I try to load a quest in the player nothing is there to load, not even the 1st quest.

Also can this version download some of the more fancy graphic tiles?

Are they in the folder with everything else?

try double clicking on zelda.exe and then putting in a player name, this is the dos mode, but should work.

Yes it can, and you just have to make a new quest/download it to the same directory as ZQuest.

also, you shouldn't have made that previous post, just edit your first one. ok, my modding streak is over now :D
