dungeon wont work.....

i made a map, and when it bcame time to creat a dungeon, i would creat a new map and stuff, but the tiles would still be the same as the overwold tiles, just darker. whats going on> :confuse2:

I'm sorry, but I don't understand what you're asking.

set the level # on the dmap that you have to make for the dungeon, as well as name, color, starting position, music, and the map # that the dungeon is located on.

This is all covered in the tutorial.

i did all that, but when i go to the new map its still the 0verworld peices...

If you need to change the pallette, press a number from 1 to 9 on the numeric keypad. If you want to use dungeon tiles, they're near the bottom of the screen, or you can hold shift+up or down to see more tiles.

ok. i'll try and explain myself clearer. i am using the revenge2 tiles. i have designed the overworld, and i am try to work on the first dungeon. i made a new dmap, but when i went to it, it still had the overworld tiles when the dungeon tiles should have been there.

oh...you mean the combos on the right side of the screen didn't change to the dungeon combos (which is what they are called--not tiles--tiles are actually just what the combos look like). anyway, they shouldn't have changed--you have to scroll through the combo list manually by pressing the shift+down, or ctrl+pg down on the keyboard--or, if you go to the options menu & check the option, mouse scrolling, you can scroll thru combos using the mouse

i know all that. i tried doing ctrl+pg down and i tried shift down, and i even did the mouse scrolling thing.
it still didnt appear.
mayb when i downloaded it, it did something incorrectly... ill try re-downloading it.

1.90 still has combo pages. To change the tiles you're using to another set of combos, go to tools->combo pages, and change it to "2". In 1.92, all you have to do is scroll down using the mouse(the mouse scroll option must be turned on), or press shift+page down/up.

use the 192b182, if you have to learn and fight with all this, might as well use the best version :O)
