You find getting spammed funny? This is why I uninstalled ICQ.

I only got those messages one or two times, but i just blocked the sender.

Why you find this humorous, I don't know.

I get all this crap in my e-mail all the time and would like to strangle each sender individually.

What's bad is I have a Win2000 computer and it pops up spam messages all the time. Minor annoyance but nothing serious.

If I were you I'd set up ICQ so that my ICQ# isn't public, and also download Ad-aware (http://www.lavasoftusa.com/support/download/) and run it to remove all your spyware that's creating the pop-ups ;).

A quick fix is, stay in invisible mode at all times.... add your important people to your visible list so they can see you at all times....works like a champ.

Hey I didn't know you could do that... sounds good.

Except I don't know anybody who uses ICQ anymore. Everyone from my school went over to stupid MSN Messenger... Grrr...
