A sound problem for Win XP

I have Windows XP and I can't get my sound to work on both ZC and ZQuest! I'm using the correct version! Oh, yeah, the version is for Windows and the version is 1.90. Please help!

Download a newer windows version of ZC, version 1.90 and XP don't get along well.

Using XP...
Select the sound card called 'MPG...' (3rd from bottom of the list)or so in Setup.
I also did it that way
