Vel's BS-Zelda quest: red ring, silver arrow?

Embarassed to admit it, but I can't seem to find either. I've been through the boards, to Vel's BS site, Googled like mad, but can't figure out where either item is... I know where they *ought* to be, but because things are different, they're not there.

It's kind of stupid to bother asking, since I'm already at Ganon, but I'd like to know for the heck of it. Thanks in advance ...

The red ring is under an armos on a screen with grass and 2 armos, it is near level 3, you need 8 pieces of triforce before you can get it. The silver arrow is in the first room of level 8, you need to push a block.

How'd you pull that trick with the Red Ring! Do you just make it a L9 guy but set a (special) item ... ?

Could have sworn I checked all blocks in L8 but I guess I missed ... hrm. Oh well.

I had the guy be a L9 guy, and when he dissapeared it activated secret flags that were pit waprs, that warped you to another room with the item.
