Snapshot hotkey

Is there a hotkey to take a picture? If there is, what is it?

You can really only use the snapshot hotkey of F12 in ZC, but if it is dire that you take a shot of ZQ, open it up with the -windowed command line option, and then hit Print Scrn, and paste that image to a paint program.

The snapshot key, F12, works in both ZC and ZQ, just that ZQ doesn't show F12 as the hotkey in its menu. I'm using public beta 182, so it should at least work in that release.

I dont think it works in the tile edit screen, I've tried before.

I tried it out, you're right redmage.

So in ZQ F12 works to take a snapshot anywhere except the tile edit screen. If you want to take snapshot there go to Etc > Take Snapshot.

And redmage and tsukuru it does take snapshots by pressing f12 at the tiles' editing screens
