Unfortunately it didn't work, I still only have WMP6.4 on this PC, and that automation object doesn't exist.

Is that the lame "open the CD-ROM" trick? Didn't work here, probably cause WMP7 (and later) isn't installed :p.

Wasn't mean to be spectacular or awesome Glenn, it was a "for the fuck of it" kind of thing.

What sort of a world are we living in when users don't have the latest MS goodies. ;)

I think I have WM 9, not sure though, I just run Windows Update and let it do whatever the hell it wants.

Well, I try to keep everything updated, but on this system, WMP7 and later grind it to a halt. Not to mention that I prefer the 6.4 interface.

I've found that if you actually install WMP7 and later uninstall it, it leaves some stuff behind. That little thing War Lord did would work in such a situation.

Of course it could just be that I ended up with an incomplete uninstallation :p.

Hey, I like War Lord's party trick, but I'd hate to use this cupholder then spill coffee all over it. :( Now if only there was a way to make your computer explode with an automation object, we'd be set for party tricks.

I can't see it because I most definitely don't have Windows Media Player. But judging by that JavaScript, I'd say it ejects the CD ROM drive. Cute. ;)

I always wondered what that thing on my computer was for! That's pretty cool!
