how do you make 'mock ups'?

i'm just wondering how you would go about making a 'mock up'? this would be good so that if i had a suggestion, i could actually show it and provide it an example of what it would look like it!

Grab some screen shots of something similar and make changes in a paint program like Paint Shop Pro or Photoshop.

DN, what font does ZC use? That way I don't have to copy and paste each letter I need when I make mockups. ^.^

This is not a Windows font, so there is no font file to give, just the bitmap of all the letters.
