If anything, it makes me want to play this game again, though it'll have to be the rom since my NES's rfu adapter is broken.

The SNES R/F adapter will work on your NES if you have that, or the N64/GC one. The bad part about playing the ROM (which I did above) is that I have to sit at my PC, and the Gravis Gamepad Pro isn't as good as the NES control pad.

I was well aware of that, and the one that got chewed was actually the one that came with my SNES. The original one that came with my NES was lost a long time ago.

I never got an RFU adapter plug for my N64, so I wouldn't have one from that to spare.

Ah I see. There's always the A/V cable hookup, unless you don't have a TV that has A/V inputs or don't have the cables.

Unfortunately, thats not an option. I have the 1993 reissue of the NES, which does not have the A/V outputs that the original NES has. No, the only solution here will be to get my lazy ass to a game store and buy a new RFU adapter.
