This isn't the first CD that has been deliberatly made to not play in PC CD players. He probably could have used a standalone CD player, but nobody should have to do that IMO.
(EDIT)There is a simple method to defeat this protection, and it doesn't even require a computer ;). Anyone got a black marker?

Why was he copyinvg the CD? Why didnt he just do the AMERICAN thing and support the RIAA by buying a CD player to play the damn thing on. No, he wants to be a criminal and try to play it on his computer.
That bastard should at least get a year in prison. Maybe two.
