Apple has definitely done something grand here. The sad thing is that you can only access it if you have an Apple computer. You'd think they'd put together some kind of gateway for PC users.

Finally. I just hope, as you said, that such a thing becomes avaliable for PC users.

No, the next thing that Microsoft will steal from Apple is features from the OS X software into the newest version of Windows...

And yeah, that DOES look pretty awesome. Considering that I use my PC for games less and less (That job goes to my gaming systems) and for actual work more and more, I might just want to buy a Mac as my first PC...

I heard Apple was going to port iTunes to Windows. They'd be stupid not to.

1 problem, it still costs money. Yeah I know i'm being unreasonable, but i'm very, very cheap.

If I had a credit card, I would be much more willing to buy single songs at 99 cents (I think that's what they're charging, this was on TechLive a few days ago) than a CD for $20. Apple is definitely on to something. Even more impressive is they have the approval of all of the major record labels (that's a feat in itself IMO).

And SWE, yes you are cheap ;).

And then as soon as they're done stealing everything profitable, they shall steal our socks and hold them for ransom...(don't mind me I'm on a sugar high...WOOOOOOOOOOO!!!) :mischief:

All the bands I like are old enough I can get the CDs for cheaper anyhow (just got Rubber Soul new for $5).

You're all wrong. The correct answer was: coffee (http://www.theregister.com/content/28/30679.html). :odd:

I just remembered one thing mentioned on the TechLive snippet that I saw about this: Apple does plan to do a PC version of iTunes. So PC users are not out of luck.

And regarding the filesharing networks: I haven't logged onto one for several months. It's just not appealing for me anymore.

Hmm... they don't really give any names, or good resources, so I can't be terribly sure that it's true... but if it is, than that's just sad.

Funny article, though.
