These are the new screenshots from my quest, The last dimension I have made much progress since the demo, and I will probably release a finished quest in August or September. What I have made so far is:
---
*About two finished overworlds.
*Three real "dungeons" (Level 1, 2 and 3).
*About ten caves. (Not just one-screeners, they're more like dungeons)
*Five "dungeons" that's not like an ordinary one, somewhat small and strange ones.
---
For the moment, there's 65 MIDIs in the quest, and all of them, except a few, is used.
The intro is not finished yet, but I'm gettin' there. Level 4 is not exactly a "dungeon", it starts with a small dungeon, which has pretty much nothing but some riddles, and some dangerous monsters.
A locked boss door, and a mini boss. When you finish the mini boss, you will be taken to a strange place, where you have four different roads to go, each road leads to a different world. I have yet finished only one of these four worlds, but the second one is soon finished. You will have to finish these worlds in the right order, (you CAN only finish them in the right order). Each world holds a small dungeon, with a boss. You will find a treasure in each dungeon, which will help you to get to the next world. The last world will get you something, that will allow you to get the boss key in Level 4. THEN you can finish it. So when you get to Level 4, you will have quite a lot of things to do, although it's not much like an ordinary dungeon. It is, as I explained, four small overworlds, and five small dungeons.
---
Unfinished stuff:
*Level 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10 and .... (Not sure if there should be any more levels)
*Overworld #3
*Intro and other sequences
*Lots of caves and mini "dungeons"
---
The quest has a lot of ripped tiles from other games, as well as other tilesets, so it won't have this ordinary 'Pure tileset' feeling. Something that many seems to be tired of (much like myself). The Pure tileset is simply overused. But don't worry about the Pure tileset, this quest has a lot of new stuff to offer.
I'm planning to release a new demo after I finish Level 6, but I can't make any promises, and when I have finished Level 6, the quest is soon finished, so I might finish it before I release anything.
