In the future Google Compute may allow you to also donate your computing time to other carefully selected worthwhile endeavors, including projects to improve Google and its services.In other words, the highest bidder.

Alexmax, did you read the article? This is an addition to your google bar that allows you to do scientific research during times when you are away from your computer. :rolleyes:

And Alphadog, Considering I can see what my computer is currently processing (I'm currently testing a protien called P651_TZ4_EXT) I'm not too worried about that for now. If later I see that it isn't going to a good cause I'll ditch it.
