I just looked at my user profile and here's when it thought I would reach 500 posts:

I better get posting or something, cause that is a LONG way away! Anyhow, I just thought that was pretty funny.

It took me a year to make 1000 posts and another to make 5000. All post count means is that you are either very active, or you spam alot.

Edit: I meant 6000 posts

Hmm, my projected date of reaching 1000 posts is in October :p.

I would imagine the projection would be more accurate for higher postcounts. You have 63 posts (when I looked), so the system doesn't have much to go on for you ;).

Though I also notice you've been here for a month shorter than a year (referring to month only, I do not know the exact date you registered cause I'm too lazy to look it up :p).

Yeah, it goes by your posts per day (well actually, it goes by posts per second ;) ) so obviously, if you've been here for awhile, it'll be more accurate. If your current posting frequency is higher or lower than your average though, that'd throw it off too. Take Cyclone (http://www.armageddongames.net/member.php?s=&action=getinfo&userid=1749), for instance. Since his posting rate has dropped to about 1 a month, I doubt he'll hit 10k by October 4th, 2003 (and I would imagine that, had this hack been in place back when he was active, it would have been more like June or July).

Basically it's just saying "If you continue to post at this rate, this is when you'll hit X posts" :)

that's a pretty cool hack. I like all the little tweaks to the member profiles that have been showing up lately :P
