I've been seeking for the next "must have" GCN game... and I think I've found it.

Goblin Commander (http://cube.ign.com/articles/399/399947p1.html)

Now, granted, it doesn't come out until November, so it might not be the *next* game I buy... but a RTS which comes from the masterminds behind Starcraft and Warcraft II certainly grabs my interest for GCN. No word yet on online play, but I can hope...

It looks quite interesting. I would hope there would be online play, afterall, GC needs some good online games.

Well, it looks promising. I can't wait for some more info on it. Though, I hope it's better than StarCraft 64, it wasn't too great, to say the least.

From what they've said, they are working to overcome the play control problems which plagued Starcraft 64. And you'll note it is being released for all 3 consoles.

That does look very interesting. I'd like to see how they plan to address the interface issues though. I honestly can't see how you could possibly create an interface using a controller that's as good as a keyboard & mouse. But with the track record these guys have, I'm willing to believe that if it's possible, they can pull it off ;)

Looks excellent. Reminds me a bit of a medieval Command & Conquer.

Whoa, the graphics on this look great. I like how they're having limited amounts of troops. When playing Starcraft, or WCII when the battle.net version came out, it was kind of more, like who could build more units and rush the fastest then strategy.

Wow, I was looking through the screenshots, and with the giant goblin, it looks like you can make him eat the smaller units as well as do normal attacks. http://www.goblincommander.com/screens/slide_7.jpg

Those graphics are good. But not better than Harvest Moon, which IMO has the best graphics for any system(except FFX cutscenes).
