Well, okay in a way it is old. I offered these tiles before, but not as a .bmp with the correct palette and not with a few refinements (and possible tiles and sprites) as I have now. Now I am ready to give it out to anyone and they can easily incorperate it into their quests if they want. All tiles and sprites included in this image are completely original. ;) I spent the last few hours putting them all in one bitmap, so I hope everyone enjoys. I'm going to send it in to PureZC right now. Here is my PureZC description:

These tiles are 99% original. Included are many, many tiles for a castle exterior complete with normal walls, walls with ivy grown on them (for climbing), 3 types of windows (one with animated curtains), wide door, narrow door, bombable wall, stairs, bombable floor, stump, sign, hookshot post, (burnable) pile of wood, grave, treasure chest, 3 sizes of blockes, animated curtains, animated torches and firepits, 4 beautiful 2-tile emblems, a new wood flooring (n, 2 versions of a soldier with a spear, soldier with a sword, prisoner, and Goron merchant, a ball for the 2-tile version of the prisoner's chains, and animations for sandstorms, rain, snow, and wind (you personally will need to switch the black for transparent on the weather effects). The remaining 1% of originality goes to the original creator of the sign, hookshot post, stump, and grave from the newfirst tileset, which I simply changed backgrounds to. Please download this and enjoy! :-D

If any of you are drooling, my work here is done. Oh yeah, good news for those of you who want it now: I just uploaded it to my image hosting site.;) It's in .gif because the site doesn't allow .bmps to be uploaded, but it still works just fine. :)

...ugh.... dude.....

See how the regular tiles in the Newfirst set are made? With big shapes, clearly defined depth and ridges? Do that. Don't give us a mishmash of spinkled sprites that have as much depth and attractiveness as Hillary Clinton's vagina.

What the hell is wrong with you, C-Dawg. Most of the sprites and tiles that are submitted and used are either extremely minor or directly ripped from other games. For your information, some of those sprites are best used in other CSets and the rest look good as they are. I've seen some of your other posts, and it looks like you don't have anything positive to say about anything, no matter what it is. Insult my work all you want, but I know better.

He's right though, the style of those tiles clashes completely with the style of Newfirst. It looks way out-of-place.

Nothing positive? At the same time I told you your work left quite a bit to be desired, I commended two other people's work,

Your tiles suck because you spinkled pixels around without any regard for shape, shadow, or texture. Get over it.

The second line of your Metroid response came off as extremely sarcastic to me, and I only created my PureZC account to upload my tiles to that archive. And actually, I didn't just sprinkle pixels on there. I spent a lot of time to add detail to the castle (that is what you are referring to, I assume, because none of the others can be mistaken for "sprinkled pixels," unless you want to get technical and call rain and sand sprinkled pixels, to which I would roll my eyes). Every pixel there I took time to consider. If you wanted me to make larger round turrets instead of rectangular or small circles (which you can make with my tileset), forget it because that would require something like ~25 tiles. If you wanted me to give it extra shading, that can't be pulled off without generalizing the tiles. Take a look at the A Link to the Past castle tiles; you can't make out bricks. I do realize that some structures used stone coatings, such as limestone around pyramids, but very few castles are like that. If I simply added the bricks without "sprinkling pixels," it would have come off drab and plain, looking like it was made by a third-grader like a few other released tiles. The only option was to add detailing to the bricks, such as fractures and shading for these factures. I think it still blends in with Newfirst, personally, but if it doesn't, you don't have to use it with Newfirst or at all. As for "get over it," I think I have the right to post in my own topic and respond to your responces.

Thanks, DeathLink.

i think they fit in very well with the tileset. i just sprinkle pixels around a lot in my tiles. i did it with some of tyhe realistic tyiles, and my 3d cave tiles.

Honestly, I've been sitting on these tiles for several months now and just now I have come up with ideas for new ones. *Sigh* I guess things are never done. If I ever do implement my new ideas, I'll be sure to release them in an update. From the very beginning I have been wanting flags and flag-type banners, but I thought that I would have to draw them over a VERY wide range of other tiles. I guess it was pretty stupid of me not to realize that I can just do the flags as a seperate layer. Right now, I plan on them acting as tops to the hookshot targets, which could be pretty interesting. It's also better that Link will be UNDER them instead of on top, so the layer thing is good. I've also been thinking about chaning one of the sets of borders for the castle floor so that it is possible to put stuff like gardens on top of the castles. Another thing is some extra tiles to turn those emblems into banners (if one so wishes).

Anyway, I'm sorry I got mad at you, C-Dawg. You have every right to call my sprites extremely ugly and go on, but I have every bit as much right to defend them. ;)
