Help with revenge 1

I am in revenge one at level 6 and I'm totally stuck. I have all of the keys and other stuff that you can get, I just can't get to the boss.I think it has something to do with the orange block in the second room to get to the stairs, but I just can't figure it out. Please help. Great quest, I have really enjoyed playing it.:confused:

Use the wand on that orange block. If you have the magic book, then it'll go away.

I have the magic book, but I guess I missed the wand, where do I get it at?
