i'm looking for some zelda 2 tiles from the NES game.. i know i saw an unpassworded quest somewhere with pretty much all of the over world tiles in it, and that would be great, but i can't seem to find it in any of the quest databases.
anyone know where i can find some?
edit: just realized this should prolly go in ZC Developers.. would someone move it for me please?

its really easy to rip them yourself. i ripped a whole bunch of tiles from that game by taking Screenshots of the game and grabbing the tiles. try that

will do. :) thanx for the info. i tried with NESticle using the print screen button, but all i got was a black box. so i'm gonna try with REW (it's windows-based, so maybe i'll have better luck)

hmmmm... Nesticle worked perfectly fine when i ripped the forcefield to the final palace.

I am pretty sure NESticle and other emulators have built-in screenshot functions.

they do, and they afre .pcx files. could that have something to do with it? the tiles didn't look right before i ripped them, but they were fine after i did.

Well, as long as it looks good in the end.

press F9 to take a ss in NESticle it works fine. ZC should be able to rip them out of the picture

that's what i did. i did a lot more tiles just like that too, and they all came out fine.

i didn't? i did. but i tried with the F9 button and that worked perfectly! thanks guys! when i did print screen in REW, the picture came out way big and i couldn't shrink the tiles without distorting the image
you know if you use Mspaint you can shrink the pic to your liking but thats up to you if you want....its what i use sometimes when i have big pics :)

Or you can change the shrink and expand options on PSP.
