...Or did the tektites get extra sugar in recent releases? I played 1.90 and 1.92 beta 163 and lower, and they're just timid. 1.92 beta 180+, they bounce off everything like it's mating season!:odd:

i guess they did. i have a hard time swatting at them when they jump in link's face and are halfweay acrosas the screen in a half a second. could be my comp though, as i get maybe 100 fps oer more, with vsync on.

I didn't really notice it in the orange tektites, but I think that the blue ones should be jumping slower, like they were in the original LoZ.

I don't know how often jumped in the original, but man do they have a lot of energy!:p I think they jump at least 3 times before they actually land for one second.

Tektites drink too much coffee, obviously. Maybe we could have Tektite enemies that do this, and I'm talking about the jumping, not the coffee.

The Goriyas got much more aggressive for some reason starting at around beta 152 or 163.

So THATS why I kept dying from all the stalfos(es?) in level one of HD...

see, perhaps DN did this intentionally or its just a very odd bug but either way, i think that there should be a quest rule or a difficulty option in initial data (with the default set at 'normal') so that the user can intentionally make enemies a little bit more active and fight harder (and perhaps change their 'HP' and amount of damage they do) there should be 3, maybe four difficulty settings: Easy, Normal, Hard, and Extreme so you could actually make a really hard quest using very simple enemies; maybe if/when the enemy editor comes out (eventually, i hope), each enemy will have a variable where you could alter its individual difficulty...

So I'm not the only one that's starting to have a hard time with weak enemies. For once I belong.:D

you have such high ambitions IDK. :P

Yes, IDK does.:p But we seriously, we don't need all that. Careful study of enemy behavior and proper placement is all we need.:)

Yeah I also noticed that too. Damn, I wonder if DN just secretly made them more hyperactive...

You mean when the goriyas tossed their boomerangs at you without warning? I think they were like that in the original as well. One of the great things about ZC 1.90 is that you can actually tell when those damn goriyas are gonna attack.

I did a few times too. it was a slow moving one, and it sat there shooting rocks everywhere, like the z3 octoroks do sometimes.
