Geocities picture hosting trick

I see people are still using the anonymizer, but a simpler way to host pictures is to:

Upload your picture
Check it, then click rename
Then change the name to: yourpicture.txt
Then in your signature or post, just put it in the IMG brackets and a picture will show up

I'm using this nifty trick in my signature now; I find it a lot more convenient then the anonymizer.

If this has already been pointed out, I apologize as I've been away for quite some time. But I see no one using it so...

since sig images shouldn't really be over 250kb anyhow...

Simply by adding ? at the end of the url will allow it to be shown on most websites such as geocities.

Also by adding http://invis.free.anonymizer.com/ before it will do the same and will most likely have a better chance of working.

Netfirms doesnt allow image linking now, so dont use netfirms.
